Types of Group Lessons

At Youth Fencing Academy, our Little Star class is specially designed for children ages 5 to 7. This program introduces young athletes to the fundamentals of fencing in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment, helping them build coordination, confidence, and a love for the sport.

The Beginner Class for ages 7 and above introduces young athletes to the core skills of fencing, including proper stance, movement techniques, attacks and defenses, and sportsmanship. Through structured drills and guided practice bouts, students build confidence, coordination, and a strong technical foundation.

Our Intermediate Class is perfect for fencers who are ready to take their training to the next level. This class challenges students with advanced drills, strategic exercises, and focused bout practice. Participants strengthen their technique, sharpen their tactical thinking, and gain the experience needed to move toward competitive fencing.

Our Competitive Class is designed for dedicated fencers who are ready to train at a higher level and prepare for local, regional, and national competitions. This program emphasizes advanced technique, tactical refinement, physical conditioning, and mental preparation. Athletes participate in intensive drills and structured bout sessions to strengthen their competitive performance.

Our Holiday School Camp offers an exciting mix of fencing training, structured games, and physical activities to keep kids energized throughout the break. Participants will learn basic techniques, practice in a safe environment, and enjoy group challenges that build coordination, confidence, and sportsmanship. All equipment is provided, making it a convenient and enjoyable holiday experience.
